Flint River Ranch's Cat & Kitten food is a chicken and lamb meal formula that is manufactured under carefully controlled conditions and temperatures, resulting in better nutrition, palatability and digestibility for your kitty. Protien is the most important ingredient in a cat's diet, and the amino acids provided by the Chicken and Lamb Meal are the basic building blocks of your cat's muscle, skin, coat, bone, blood and immune system. The high quality Chicken Meal provides Taurine, an essential amino acid for cats, in much higher levels that poultry by-products, which are often found in most other cat foods. Taurine is an important element for eye, heart, nervous and reproductive system health. Flint River Ranch's fat source contains no Ethoxyquin and is naturally preserved by Vitamin E. Further, low ash and magnesium are important in the prevention of FUS (Feline Urinary Syndrome). Flint River Ranch's Feline Formulas have less than 4.5% ash content and 0.08% of Magnesium. These promote low urinary PH and help prevent FUS. Ingredients: Chicken Meal, Ground Yellow Corn, Lamb Meal, Corn Gluten Meal, Poultry Fat (Preserved with Mixed Tocopherols and Ascorbic Acid), Ground Whole Wheat, Dried Brewers Yeast, Fish Meal, Corn Germ Meal, Salt, Dried Beet Pulp, Dehydrated Cheese, Lecithin, D-Activated Animal Sterol (Source of Vitamin D-3), Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement, Niacin Supplement, Riboflavin, Calcium Pantothenate, Choline Chloride, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Folic Acid, Biotin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Inositol, DL-Methionine, Manganese, Dehydrated Kelp, Zinc Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Cobalt Sulfate, Ferrousc Sulfate, Taurine, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite, Dried Whey Usage: Feed Kittens about 3 times a day up to 6 months; older than 6 months, feed 2 times per day. Adult Cats (1 year and older) can be fed 1 or 2 times daily. Your cat should be looking for food when the next meal is due - Flint River Ranch does not recommend free-feeding cats or dogs. The amount your cat can eat in 15-20 minutes is the amount you should serve per feeding.
